Annotation

Cooperative degree course with Universität Gießen and Hochschule Geisenheim. Application and enrolment at Universität Gießen. The course aims to qualify graduates with Bachelor's degrees in the areas of wine industry, viticulture, agricultural Sciences, beverage technology and nutrition sciences for economic management tasks in companies and institutions of the national and international wine industry. Graduates should furthermore be enabled to conduct applied research projects.

Admission requirement is a relevant Bachelor's degree. The following Bachelor's degrees are currently considered as relevant - International wine industry - Wine business economy - Viticulture and Oenology The Examination Board may recognise other study programs as equivalent in the context of the application and admission procedure after a case-by-case examination. In doing so, sound basic knowledge must be available in particular in the following areas: - Economics - Business Administration - Business Management - Marketing - Company Law - Controlling - Viticulture - Technology of wine - Microbiology - Wine Chemistry - Mathematics, statistics and data processing
