Eight-week internship possible (alternatively: a Studium Generale module or in the extended core subject, a subject module). Students are advised to commence studies in the winter semester.
Admission requirements
1) Completed degree in Media Science (with a grade of 2.5 or better) or 2) Completed study of further B.A. courses with a Media Science degree (with a grade of at least 2.5 or better). In the second case, students have to demonstrate good knowledge in the areas of media theory, media history and media analysis, amounting to 18 credit points for the extended core subject in the research-oriented study model or the core subject in the combination study model. Of these, 9 must be credit points and a further 9 points can be made up in the context of the Studium Generale instead of the internship during the Master's programme (according to the specifications of the Examination Board). For the complementary subject Media Culture in the Combination Study Model, 9 credits must have been obtained in the areas of Media Theory, History and Analysis before the beginning of the study.
