You can enrol as a regular student for the licentiate in canon law if you have successfully completed the "Theological Full degree", the "Bachelor degree" or a comparable degree or have a successfully passed first state examination for the teaching qualification for secondary level II with the subject Catholic Religious Studies or a comparable qualification as a teacher at a university outside the Federal Republic of Germany or a successfully completed first state examination in Law or the successful completion of a legal degree course equivalent to German Law in its requirements at a university outside the Federal Republic of Germany.
