Annotation

General information: In the Master´s degree programme in Political Science, you will acquire in-depth specialist knowledge of Political Science as well as the ability to independently deal with political science issues in the broad spectrum of political science professional fields. The Master's degree course gains its specific profile from an integrated scientific perspective, i.e. - the combination of different theoretical and methodological approaches in political science, - the linking of international and transnational political perspectives with internal structural conflicts, democratic problems and transformation prospects of modern societies, - the inclusion of social and economic problem constellations in the orientation of the Political Science degree programme and - the systematic integration of gender perspectives. The insight into the connections between social and political life should provide you with qualifications that open up the possibility of working in different professional fields of political science or that qualify you for research or PhD studies.
