Annotation
In the Master's degree programme in Statistics, students acquire advanced knowledge in mathematical statistics and statistical methodology as well as in various areas of specialisation. In addition, students are taught in-depth knowledge of the current state of research in one or several sub-areas of statistics or their application in a specialisation area. In the area of specialisation, concepts and applications of statistics from various disciplines such as economics, computer science, engineering or medicine can be chosen. The knowledge acquired in the degree programme enables students to successfully deal with both research-related questions in statistics itself and complex statistical problems in a practical setting.
