Annotation
The completion of the First Ecclesiastical Examination or Diploma requires membership in one of the churches of the World Council of Churches. The degree course in Protestant Theology is completed with either the First Theological Examination before a regional Protestant church or a Diploma examination. Besides the study achievements to be attained, membership of one of the churches of the World Council of Churches is an admissions requirement. On application, the Faculty of Theology can also award the Diploma degree in addition to the ecclesiastical examination.
