Target group
Graduates with a first professionally qualifying degree in courses with components of History, Polish Studies /West Slavic Studies, Political Sciences or Social and Cultural Studies with at least 60 credit points.The Master's degree programme teaches linguistic-cultural-regional knowledge about Poland and offers additional insights into the research perspectives related to Poland in neighbouring disciplines. The interdisciplinary integration is supported by involvement in the context of broad research in Regional Studies at the universities Halle and Jena.The knowledge acquired is deepened by the completion of a study semester abroad and a work placement in Poland.Course of study jointly offered with the Uni Jena Programme of studies at the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena See: http://www2.uni-jena.de/philosophie/histinst/osteuropa/ This means joint courses with the Uni Jena.
