Admission requirements

A requirement for admission to the Master's degree course in Mechanical Engineering is that the applicant has been awarded a Bachelor's in the Bachelor’s Mechanical Engineering programme of the Universität Duisburg-Essen or a qualification recognised as equivalent (see Examination Regulations). For graduates with a Bachelor's degree in courses with a standard period of study of less than 7 semesters, conditions will be imposed as part of the aptitude test, thereby guaranteeing that the applicant will have an overall course volume of 300 ECTS points following completion of the Master's in Mechanical Engineering.
