8-week technical work placement; The completion of the examination before commencement of the course of study is generally required. If, under the current conditions, the work placement cannot completely be verified by the beginning of the course, missing periods can be completed by the end of the 4th study semester. (Note: The technical part of the work placement can be replaced by completed vocational training in an industrial or skilled manual metalworking profession or a work placement in Year 11 at a technical college in one of these professions.) Language skills: English at the B 1.2 level
