Graduates, who are involved in the development, construction or designing of technical products within limits of their previous education or their previous professional practice.

Annotation

Develop product strategies. Develop innovative products. Lead interdisciplinary development projects. Product development is one of the core processes of a company. The success of a company is very closely linked to the success of its products on the market. The master's degree course in product development has set itself the goal of training employees specifically for the needs of modern product development that is oriented towards the requirements of the future: •\tcan handle complex development projects through their interdisciplinary and intercultural understanding, •\twork at the interface between product development and the areas of design, sales, marketing, product management and quality assurance, •\ttake on project management tasks as well as line management tasks in companies in the medium term and are also aware of the special responsibility of product development, •\tIndependently work on and further develop topics of product development within the framework of a scientific activity, •\tcan set up their own business with their own ideas.

Admission requirements

Degree in either Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Industrial Design or Mechatronics (or related courses) with a final grade of 'good' or higher\; Letter of recommendation/reference from an academic institution or company, participation in a selection interview, proof of command of English, proof of sufficient knowledge of German (applicants whose native language is not German).
