Target group

The general aim of the Young Professional Master's degree is to enable participants to develop professionally and to take on management and leadership tasks in companies and public institutions of various sizes. Furthermore, they are encouraged to make responsible decisions on a theoretically sound basis. The structure of the course is explicitly designed for more than just the acquisition of skills and expertise. Rather, it is about helping participants to develop individually, to make them willing and able to take responsibility and thus to gain ownership of their decisions.

Admission requirements

A certificate of academic degree worth 210 ECTS credit points or a very similar degree from a university in Germany or abroad. If a degree with at least 180 credit points but less than 210 credit points is proven, admission can be granted on the condition that the missing credit points are provided or recognised or credited in addition to the achievements listed in the module plan by the beginning of the second year of study. Admission is also granted if the following requirements are met: -a higher education entrance qualification is held and - at least three years of subsequent, relevant professional experience is demonstrated and - an aptitude test is passed, -English language proficiency at level B2 is demonstrated -an account of the candidate’s academic and professional background is provided. - a selection interview is passed.
