If the student is assigned a place in the course, the student will have a double enrolment at the LMU and the TU Munich for the 1st study phase (previously 'Pre-Clinical'). To progress into the 2nd study phase (previously 'Clinical') at one of the two universities, a separate application is to be submitted together with the registration for the 1st stage of the state medicine examination (commonly known as the 'Physikum') (only applies for students already enrolled at the LMU/TUM).
