Annotation

The admission requirement for the study of Protestant Theology is the general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur). After a standard period of study (RSZ) of 12 semesters, the "Pfarramt" (parish office) undergraduate course is completed with the First Theological Examination at a regional church. The academic degree "Pfarramt" is a prerequisite for entering the parish profession, but often also serves as a springboard to other professions. The three ancient languages required for this degree – Latin, Greek and Hebrew – can be learned very compactly at the KiHo during the initial phase of the course.
