Admission requirements

Admission requirements for the Master's degree course are a professionally qualifying academic degree from a German or equivalent foreign university in Economics or Statistics or another subject with at least 60 credit points (CP) in Economic Theory, Mathematics, Statistics or Econometrics. These 60 CPs must be proved regardless of the status of the undergraduate studies. English language skills at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) must additionally be proved. Applicants will be exempted from proof of German language skills. The equivalence of proof provided is determined by the board of examiners in charge of the Master´s degree programme of the Central Institute for East European Studies at the Free University of Berlin
