- Bachelor's degree or at least equivalent degree in the same or a related subject comprising at least 240 CP, with 150 CP or more gained in Chinese Studies. The equivalence will be determined by the examination committee in agreement with the representatives of Sinology. - informative letter of motivation of 600 to 650 words\; - proof of language skills in modern Chinese standard language equivalent to at least 90 CP or a corresponding scope of knowledge\; - proof of knowledge of pre-modern Chinese literary language equivalent to at least 6 CP or a corresponding scope of knowledge\; - proof of adequate command of English
