Annotation

How successful is a company? Business information systems specialists often play a key role in answering this question. As decision-makers in leading positions, they drive forward IT strategies and the adaptation of business processes in companies – and, in a world that is becoming more and more digital every day, bring technical requirements in line with economic considerations. At the same time, they gain important information from large amounts of data for game-changing corporate decisions. With our Master's degree course in Business Information Systems, we offer you a high-profile, practice-oriented study path to qualify you specifically for such positions. The degree course combines two key areas: In the field of Digital Transformation, you will acquire expertise and application knowledge, for example in corporate entrepreneurship or strategic process management; in the field of Data Science, you will build on this with knowledge and experience in the professional analysis of big data. With a Bachelor's academy degree worth at least 180 ECTS credits and fewer than 210 ECTS credits, admission is granted to a degree course with a standard period of study of four semesters. The study programme with a standard period of study of three semesters comprises a total of eleven compulsory modules.
