- A first professionally qualifying certificate of academic degree from a university or university of applied sciences in a course of study usually lasting four years in the Federal Republic of Germany (equivalent to 240 credit points), preferably in the area of Natural Sciences or Engineering. - Admission to the degree course is also possible for applicants with a Bachelor's degree worth 180 ECTS or 210 ECTS. In this case, missing credit points can be earned through gap courses (please enquire the project manager about additional fees). - In addition, a state-recognised qualification in health and safety at work and - at least one year of professional experience related to health and safety at work.
