The main focus Rescue Science degree programme is on diagnostics and therapy in emergency situations, monitoring patients in rescue operations, emergency response strategies, quality assurance and monitoring in the rescue service, administering medication and carrying out medical and invasive measures as well as interface management with outpatient care, emergency rooms and care facilities. Alternating theoretical and practical phases in cooperation with companies and social institutions. Depending on the location of the various areas of specialisation.
Admission requirements
A study and training contract with a company or social institution. The degree programme in Medical Engineering Sciences is aimed at medical technologists who are already professionally qualified in three specialisations - Functional Diagnostics (MTL) - Laboratory analysis (MTL) - Radiology (MTR) and is also aimed at - Surgical Technicians (OTA) - Anaesthesia Technical Assistants (ATA) - Emergency paramedics (NFS)
