The dual degree programme in Technical Building Equipment combines modules in mechanical engineering, such as construction, thermodynamics and computer science, with a number of challenging units such as heating and air-conditioning technology, supply networks and technology, fire protection, energy management and law. Our students strengthen their soft skills, specialist skills and management skills in additional subjects. In this way, they have everything they need to get started as sought-after specialists in future-proof companies in the field of technical building equipment or in energy consulting companies. Alternating theoretical and practical phases in cooperation with companies and social institutions.
Admission requirements
A study and training contract with a company or social institution. If proof of aptitude is also provided, applicants with a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification or a professional qualification compliant to the regulations governing access to higher education for professionals (BerufsHZVO) may also be admitted.
