To directly enrol in the degree course, you need a general higher education entrance qualification (allgemeine Hochschulreife), a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification (fachgebundene Hochschulreife) or an entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences (Fachhochschulreife). You don't have a general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification (Fachabitur)? Recognised continuing education and technical college qualifications (e.g. technician, master craftsman, business economist, specialist economist, educator, etc.) in combination with a counselling interview then also entitle you embark on the degree course. If you do not have a continuing education or technical college qualification, but have completed vocational training and have professional experience, then you can start studying after successfully completing the university aptitude test. German language skills for prospective foreign students We require proof of German language skills from prospective foreign students.
