Admission requirements

Completion of a degree by means of a Diploma degree, a Master's degree or an equivalent academic degree with the same major subject. Successful two-stage admission examination in the form of a preliminary examination and a main examination; Admission to the main examination is granted to those who pass the preliminary examination. The preliminary examination is not required if an examination board of the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts has granted admission to the main examination within the framework of a Diploma degree or Master's degree at the applicant's request.
