Annotation

In the major "Nature Conservation and Landscape Planning", the focus is on issues of comprehensive nature conservation and their implementation in landscape planning. In the major "Regional Planning", the focus is on planning and control instruments to integrate the environmental perspective into an overall spatial development. The German language Major ‘Naturschutz und Landschaftsplanung’ addresses the issue of extensive nature conservation and how it can be implemented in landscape planning, whereas the English language Major ‘Territorial Development’ focuses on planning and control instruments for integrating the environmental perspective into comprehensive spatial development.

Admission requirements

Course applicants require a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree course in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning or a closely related subject. Applicants must also show evidence of their particular aptitude for the course in the form of a letter of motivation. This should comprise a maximum of five A4 pages and have up to 10 pages of sample work as an appendix.
