The qualification is proven by the completion of an undergraduate degree course at a domestic or foreign university with at least 210 ECTS credits in the field of mechatronics or a related degree course or a certificate that is equivalent to such a certificate of academic degree. The Examination Board will decide on the equivalence of qualifying degrees. Furthermore, the professional aptitude for this course of study must be proven within the framework of an aptitude test. The aptitude test is carried out by means of an examination, the subject of which is complex tasks on relevant topics from higher mathematics for engineers, as well as on questions from the fields of physics, computer science, electrical engineering and control engineering. If German is not the native language, sufficient knowledge of the German language must be demonstrated. If English is not the native language, sufficient knowledge of the English language must be demonstrated.
