Target group

The degree course is aimed at graduates with a first degree who wish to deal intensively and independently with a development and research topic over the entire three-semester Master’s degree programme. Possible topics are from the subject areas of faculties 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10 at Munich University of Applied Sciences. The Master’s degree course in Applied Research in Engineering Sciences prepares you in this way for a career in applied research and development.

Admission requirements

1. Proof of at least 180 ECTS credit points and at least six theoretical semesters of comprehensive study with an overall result of 2.5 or better in the MINT subjects or related subjects, as offered by the faculties 03-09 of the Munich University of Applied Sciences, or an equivalent degree. 2. Proof of relevant professional practice in MINT subjects or in the above-mentioned fields of at least 20 weeks 3. For applicants from abroad: Proof of command of German to level C1 is required. 4. Proof of the degree-specific suitability within the framework of an aptitude test (Admission interview).
