Target group

The aim of the integrated courses Mainz-Dijon is the acquisition of two degrees, both nationally recognised after successful completion of a relevant degree course. In addition to the binational specialist training in two educational systems, the acquisition of intercultural competencies is an important component of the course. Compared to regular courses of study, the integrated courses not only offer a double degree, but also educate students for the international labour market without extending the time they spend studying.

Annotation

It is recommend that you start the course in the winter semester. If the Bachelor degree certificate is not available by the application deadline, but at least 135 credit points you will need to demonstrate: Submit a certificate of study and examinations and the average grade achieved so far. (This certificate must be issued by the relevant higher education institution, original or officially authenticated copy). After enrolment, the diploma must be submitted. If the degree was obtained abroad: officially authenticated copy of a certificate of recognition (responsible: Student Service - Admission International).

Evidence of French language proficiency obtained through five years of school education completed with a grade of at least “sufficient” or 5 points, or through a certificate of advanced French language proficiency at the level of the Common European Framework of Reference B2, which can be demonstrated through a language test or through the Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française (DELF B2). Evidence of French language proficiency can also be provided by submitting a higher education entrance qualification completed at a French-speaking school or an Abi-Bac. Bachelor's degree in Romance Studies or an equivalent degree from a university in Germany or abroad, with at least 50 credit points in Romance Studies or Lettres Modernes with the specification in French Philology. Evidence of proficiency in another Romance language or Latin through three years of school education completed with a grade of at least "sufficient".
