Target group
The consecutive Master's degree course in Corporate Communication/PR is a postgraduate extension of Bachelor's degree studies in Journalism or Economics which offers graduates of such courses a further, professionally qualifying academic studies. The Master's degree course prepares students for careers in Corporate Communication/Public Relations, Political Communication/Political Consulting and Financial Communication.
Annotation
If the Bachelor degree certificate is not available by the application deadline, but at least 135 credit points can be proven: Submit a certificate of study and examinations and the average grade achieved so far. (This certificate must be issued by the relevant higher education institution, original or officially authenticated copy). After enrolment, the diploma must be submitted. If the degree was obtained abroad: officially authenticated copy of a certificate of recognition (responsible: International Department).
Admission requirements
Bachelor's degree from a Journalism or Communication Science subject or a very similar degree from a university in Germany or abroad. At least 90 credit points (CP) or an equivalent amount in a Journalism or Communication Science subject. Of which at least 12 CP in the field of Empirical Methodology, including mandatory Statistics. Evidence of at least 10 of these CP in the field of Empirical Benefit and Impact Research. Sufficient proficiency in English Student applicants:who obtained neither their higher education entrance qualification at a German-speaking institution nor a degree in a course conducted in German must provide evidence of German proficiency at the level of the “German Language Test for Admission to Higher Education for Foreign Students” (DSH) or the “Test of German as a Foreign Language” (TestDaF) (levels DSH-3 and 4 x TDN 5).
