- Higher education entrance qualification - Proof of previous training recognised as equivalent by the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern - Proof of further education (e.g., passing the master craftsperson/technician examination) within the qualification ordinance for the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania) - Passing an entrance examination (for applicants without a higher education entrance qualification) after having completed at least two years of vocational training and at least three years of professional activity in a field which is related directly to the intended course of study
