The Teaching Qualification for Primary Schools (L1) course prepares students for teaching in primary schools (classes 1-4)\; Qualification to teach classes 1-6 is acquired in the teaching subjects. German and Mathematics are compulsory subjects, a third subject is selected. The course has a modular structure (completion of First State Examination).
