The admission requirement for the study of Protestant Theology is the general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur). After a standard period of study (RSZ) of 12 semesters, the undergraduate course "Magister/Magistra der Theologie" (Master's in Theology) is completed with the Magister examination at the Ecclesiastical College (KiHo). The three ancient languages required for this degree – Latin, Greek and Hebrew – can be learned very compactly at the KiHo during the initial phase of the course.
