Annotation
The interdisciplinary Bachelor's degree course in Ergotherapy, Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy enables students to build on their therapeutic training at a vocational school of ergotherapy, speech therapy or physiotherapy. Vocational training is credited towards the first three semesters of study. The central content of the degree course is the scientific deepening of therapeutic knowledge. Practical relevance is guaranteed by a work placement accompanying the study programme. Students acquire skills for a career as a reflective professional practitioner and as a junior scientist. Admission is for the 4th study semester. https://www.hs-osnabrueck.de/studium/studienangebot/bachelor/ergotherapie-logopaedie-physiotherapie-bsc/
Admission requirements
- Higher education entrance qualification and initial training in one of the therapeutic professions at a cooperating full-time vocational school or - Initial training at a non-cooperating vocational school plus successful participation in a competence assessment examination. Admission is for the 4th study semester, because the training in the vocational school is credited towards the first three semesters of the Bachelor's degree course. English language skills are required to be able to participate in the English module, specialist language of the therapeutic professions, at level 3 in the 4th semester. For students who do initially achieve this level, it is possible to develop this in compact courses before the beginning of the semester. Applicants with a foreign school-leaving certificate must also demonstrate sufficient German language skills, e.g. proof of DSH 2 level of the German language test for admission to higher education for foreign study applicants (DSH).
