Annotation
The two-semester orientation course Go.MINt gives students an individually tailored introduction to studying mathematics and science; Go.MINt offers them the framework for exploring their interests, strengths and inclinations in the first year of study and for gaining study experience. They get to know the undergraduate STEM degree programmes at the University of Konstanz and gain an insight into the requirements and content of STEM studies, but do not yet have to commit to a degree programme. During their orientation studies, they then make a conscious decision as to which STEM subject degree programme is right for them. The Go.MINt orientation course can optionally precede Bachelor's degree programmes in the STEM subjects of Mathematics, Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at the University of Konstanz and thus becomes an integral part of the degree programme; Upon successful completion, the individual standard period of study of the Bachelor's degree programme is thus extended to eight semesters. For more information, see uni.kn/gomint.
