By getting into practice-oriented and manual activities at the start of skilled worker training, you learn about the construction of machines and the job description of the mechanical engineer. You also distance yourself from the theory you learned in secondary school. Many lectures are accompanied by specialist laboratories as part of the programme. The programme maintains good regional industrial contacts via current development contracts.
