Annotation

The course content is designed to provide a broad basic education in general Electrical Engineering without focusing on one of the numerous disciplines. It ranges from the smallest electronic components to the classic network elements in energy transmission and energy generation - such as generators, overhead lines and transformers. In the first phase, the focus of the course is on the basic natural sciences subjects, thus creating a solid foundation for the following engineering disciplines in the second phase of the course. This second part focuses on the most important areas of Electrical Engineering and also on adjacent disciplines, such as programming and project management. The content of the engineering course is consistently geared towards practice and supplemented by relevant work placements. The final practical phase with the Bachelor's thesis serves to further develop students’ skills and is a chance for them to independently work on a problem relevant to practice. The Bachelor's thesis is generally carried out in a company or in another professional institution in cooperation with the university.
