Our partners
In its first five years RISE – (Research Internships in Science and Engineering) was supported by generous grants from the European Recovery Program (ERP) of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. Currently, RISE is supported by the Federal Foreign Office and by many partners. Become one of them!
We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the success of the RISE program!
Help DAAD spread the word!
Doctoral students, young researchers, and academics support the program at their institutions. But we receive also assistance from several important professional organizations . They help promote the program among their constituents, assist us in answering more subject-specific questions, and provide information for the fellows about study and research in their subject areas. If you are interested in spreading the word about the RISE program familiy – please contact us!
Support an intern and co-finance the scholarship!
Every year, we receive more offers for research internships from German universities who would like to participate in the RISE Germany program, and more applications from North American and British students, than we can shoulder with our RISE budget.
DAAD has funds for about 140 scholarships, yet for the past seven years, we have been able to invite over 300 RISE participants, thanks to co-operations with, for example, the German Research Foundation, German universities, the ‘Fonds der Chemischen Industrie’ (Association of Chemical Industries), and – last but not least – thanks to Partner-Scholarships offered by US-American universities and our Canadian partner Mitacs and its Globalink program. Are you interested in offering co-financing? Please contact us.
