Gloria Okafor is an interdisciplinary research scientist with background skills in the field of hydrology and agrometeorology. Later, her interest evolved toward solving environmental issues related to climate variability and change. She is a recipient of COSPAR Fellowship and her work focuses on understanding the drivers and impacts of climate variability and change, investigating the vulnerability of human to climate and landuse change impacts and forecasting future water resources using the impacts of expected climate change. Currently, Gloria is a lecturer at the Department of Civil Engineering, Nigeria Maritime University, Delta State. In climapAfrica, her research challenge focus on the investigation of hydrological and climatic extremes and quantification of their impacts on ecosystems.
