Services: Reference-only library with short-term loans; Open from Monday to Friday. Available print and online media types: Monographs, magazines, essays, newspapers, theses, audio books, DVDs. Access to 12 databases and 14,134 e-journals. Outside of opening hours access to e-books and e-journals, Statista, Web of Science, WISO-Net, SpringerLINK, Thieme-Connect, Wiley Online Library; CIANDO, free usage of the university, state and city libraries.

Foreign language center and courses

There is a foreign language centre. Languages offered: English, French, German as a Foreign Language, Spanish, Chinese. In principle, students can learn any foreign language they like free of charge, provided that there are at least 10 students in a group.

Special features regarding university sports

The university does not have its own sports programme. Students can use the programme of Berlin University Sports. In addition to sports courses in fitness, endurance, ball, health, dance sports, martial arts and water sports, sports trips, events and competitions are also offered. In addition, students can use a variety of different gyms in the Berlin area. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees.
