Acquisition proposals from students, teaching staff and researchers of the FHM are preferably acquired as an online resource so that they can be accessed at any time and from anywhere. If no campus licence is available, printed versions will be procured for the FHM library at the location that made the proposal.

The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. FHM works together with the students to organise sports events such as running groups, football tournaments, rowing and a fitness programme by students for students via social media. Students can also take part in the cross-location ski trip.
