Access to a wide range of databases and a large number of e-books and e-journals on site (including SpringerLink, Wiley, Statista, Wiso-net, APA PsycArticles,...); Services: Central reference-only library with short-term loans; Opening times Monday - Friday and sometimes into the evening; Reading room with numerous quiet workspaces; Three rooms with additional workspaces & copier room; Resource (print and e-books) search in the OPAC online catalogue; List of e-resources licensed by HSF in the electronic journals library (EZB) and in the database information system (DBIS),; Access to a wide range of databases and a variety of e-books and e-journals on site (including SpringerLink, Wiley, Web of Science, ..); Cooperation with the test library of the University of Hamburg.

Foreign language center and courses

There is a foreign language centre. Languages offered: English, French, German as a Foreign Language, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Japanese. In addition, Dutch, Hebrew and industry-specific language courses (e.g. Business English, English for Psychology Students) are offered.

Special features regarding university sports

The university does not have its own sports programme. In Hamburg, the university sports programme is a joint service of all the state and state-recognised higher education institutions. All sports offers are available to students at Fresenius University of Applied Sciences. In addition to the more than 200 sports courses, sports trips, events and competitions are also offered. Participation is subject to fees. The General Student Committee of Fresenius University of Applied Sciences has its own Sports department at each campus and organises sporting events such as the annual multi-site football tournament "FreseCup". In addition, participation in local sporting events or programmes can be discussed with the Sports department.
