Special features regarding the library

Locations: At the Hamm and Rhineland locations, students have the opportunity to access journals and specialist books at the university in addition to the online resources.; Stock: Stock on the campus is expanded by stock in the library (50m away). There is also the possibility to access ebsco, content select, ONleihe24, etc.; Services: The students receive a library ID card free-of-charge, which enables them to loan material from the main library, Hamm, from libraries of the universities in North Rhine-Westphalia and also allows for interlibrary loans. The library ID card is, like the semester ticket, a voluntary additional service from the university. The annual fee for the library ID card is paid for students by the SRH Hochschule until the end of the standard period of study. Students are also provided with a wide range of digital literature, which will be continuously expanded in the future.

Foreign language center and courses

There is no foreign language centre. Languages offered: English, German as a Foreign Language. Various courses of study are offered in English at the university.

Special features regarding university sports

The university does not have its own sports programme. SRH North Rhine-Westphalia University of Applied Sciences has concluded a cooperation agreement with Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences. This enables members of the SRH to take part in the university sports course programme. Participation is free of charge. SRH North Rhine-Westphalia University of Applied Sciences has various partnerships with sports clubs (football, handball) to enable students to participate in these sports. There is also a cooperation with a fitness studio, in which students can become members for a reduced monthly fee.
