Foreign language center and courses

There is a foreign language centre. Languages offered: English, German as a Foreign Language, Spanish, Chinese. The Centre for Languages and Diversity regularly reviews its range of foreign languages and this is adjusted or expanded accordingly. Both curricular and extra-curricular foreign language courses are offered. Students are also advised on courses outside the Berlin University of Applied Sciences. There is a partnership for extra-curricular courses.

Special features regarding university sports

The university does not have its own sports programme. SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences offers university sports events such as a football & beach volleyball tournament or a short marathon through Berlin. SRH is a member of the General German University Sports Federation (ADH). Students can therefore register for the sports activities offered by other higher education institutions in Berlin. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. Students benefit from a diverse range of sports on offer at Berlin's universities. In addition, the university offers its own sporting events. As it is a member of the General German University Sports Federation (ADH), there are certain educational and competition programmes of the ADH that the students can use throughout Germany.
