Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. Participation is possible for students attending the institution. Leipzig University & free online sports programme of the Saxony State Conference on University Sports. Participation is subject to fees. The University Sports Centre of Leipzig University of Applied Sciences consists of the areas of Sport, Health and Education. In addition to courses, university sports also offered a wide range of camps and internal university competitions. In the field of Health, there is a joint university health management system with the health insurance fund Techniker Krankenkasse, which is divided into student and occupational health management. In the field of Education, there are mainly courses in social work, but also various seminars in experiential education, podcast and video production as well as event management for all students.
