Foreign language center and courses

There is a foreign language centre. Languages offered: English, French, German as a Foreign Language, Spanish. As part of a cooperation project, it is possible to participate as a self-paying student in the elementary-level modules of TUDIAS (TU Dresden) in 10 other foreign languages: Arabic, Chinese, Finnish, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, etc.

Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. Dresden University Sports Centre (DHSZ) is a joint central institution of Dresden University of Applied Sciences and TU Dresden. All students are equally entitled to the courses offered. Participation is subject to fees. Thinking needs movement! Under this motto, Dresden University Sports Centre accompanies over 40,000 students, employees and families each year within TU Dresden, Dresden University of Applied Sciences and other Dresden higher education institutions with an attractive range of sports and events.
