There is no foreign language centre.

Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. For own students, participation is possible at their own university sports programme as well as at the Saarland University. Participation is free of charge. The programme is open to students of the University of Applied Sciences in Saarbrücken (htw saar), Saarland University, Saar Music Academy (Hochschule für Musik Saar), Saar University of Fine Arts (Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar). Students also have the opportunity to compete in the German University Championships of the General German University Sports Federation (adh).
