Special features regarding the library

Locations: Campus Bingen-Büdesheim incl. nursing workstations; Stock: Around 45,000 books; 60 journals; approx. 7,000 e-books, 6,000 e-journals plus national licences; Service: The TH Bingen library is all about teaching, studying, research and continuing education. Whether suitable media for the lecture, basic works or special technical literature: Clearly sorted according to subject groups, almost all media in the library are freely accessible. The stock covering Agricultural and Environmental Science in particular is of national importance.

Foreign language center and courses

There is a foreign language centre. Languages offered: Chinese, English, French, Spanish. In cooperation with the VHS Bingen, we offer you Spanish, French and Mandarin (High Chinese). Depending on the subject area, the modules are recognised as electives or listed in your Statement of Records.

Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. Students attending the institution can also participate in the sports programme of the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. There is also a TH internal, official running group. The range of sports is managed by the AStA of the TH Bingen and administered by the local sports department.
