Locations: Location in the main building; Stock: The media offer includes 99,091 print media, 177 magazine subscriptions, 18,405 e-books and 21 databases. Special grants currently provide access to 347,698 e-books.; Services: modern self-learning centre (awarded as a future-oriented learning space (awarded with the "Hochschulperle" prize by the German Donors' Association) with 54 individual workstations, 4 group workspaces and 2 lounge areas. The further equipment includes 2 book scanners and 2 copiers, booking via RFID with 2 self-booking machines and a return machine for returning media, even outside opening hours. A wide range of training and advice, a dedicated training room, online tutorials and interlibrary loan services are also part of the service.

Special features regarding university sports
The university does not have its own sports programme. EvH students can take part in the university sports programme at the Ruhr University Bochum sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. The student union of the EvH Bochum also offers changing sporting activities, such as football or climbing.
