Special features regarding the library

Locations: The library at Münster University of Applied Sciences consists of a total of four departmental libraries: three locations in Münster and one library in Steinfurt.; Stock: The university library organises access to all types of print and digital media as well as to multimedia-based data and information stocks.; Services: Individual counselling sessions; Numerous (online) programmes on the topic of "Finding, evaluating, managing, citing and documenting literature"; Rental of small devices (e.g. presentation remote controls, dictation devices), video and audio equipment, VR equipment; Modern, well-equipped individual workspaces; Individual and group work rooms that can be reserved; Research PC; Scanners; Colour photocopier; Lockers; Book returns possible outside of the opening hours via the returns box; Material library in the Library for Architecture, Design and Art

Foreign language center and courses

There is a foreign language centre. Languages offered: English, German as a Foreign Language, Spanish. Students who attend language courses at qualified language schools outside of Münster University of Applied Sciences can have part of the costs reimbursed (EUR 50-100). This applies to foreign language courses (not German courses) in Germany as well as abroad.

Special features regarding university sports

The university does not have its own sports programme. All students at Münster University of Applied Sciences can take part in university sports at Münster University and use the campus gym. Participation is subject to fees. The range of sports facilities is huge and also reasonably priced: Students pay no basic costs, only the prices of the individual sports courses (between 15 and 99 euros per semester). The diverse range of university sports in more than 150 different sports includes all popular sports, well-known and lesser-known competitive sports and attractive sports tours such as diving or skiing - from aqua fitness to soccer to yoga, almost everything is included.
