Special features regarding the library

Locations: The university library of FH Düsseldorf comprises three specialist libraries: Technology/Design specialist library on the north campus and Social Science and Economics specialist libraries on the south campus.; Services: All specialised libraries are open Monday to Friday 8am - 8pm and Saturday 10am - 4pm. In addition to print books and journals, we also offer access to specialist databases, e-journals, e-books and e-learning materials. We support the search for academic specialist information through training and one-to-one sessions.

Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. Participation is free of charge. The programme is open to students of the HHU. The joint Sports Department of the four universities in Düsseldorf allows students and staff of the University of Applied Sciences to be offered a wide range of courses and sports: 14 ball sports from badminton to lacrosse to volleyball; 28 sports and activities in the areas of individual and fitness sport from aerobics to climbing to taiko; 13 martial arts from aikido to judo to Tai Chi Chuan; 14 dance sports from Anatolian folklore to merengue to tribal dance; 4 water sports – kayaking, rowing, swimming and sailing.
