Special features regarding the library

Stock: More than 48,000 media; Services: The library has resources from the areas of Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Education, Politics, Law, Economics, Medicine, Nursing, Theology and Non-profit Management. It subscribes to over 90 specialist journals and approx. 1,100 volumes are acquired every year. All available titles are listed in the online catalogue and can be searched for. The library follows a systematic, freely accessible concept. It participates in the German inter-library lending system.

Special features regarding university sports

The university does not have its own sports programme. Students can participate in the sports programme of the TU Darmstadt and the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. Participation is free of charge. The sports activities of the EHD are supported by the athletics department of the student union. The activities currently include: Self-defence, football, bouldering, volleyball, laser tag, yoga.
