Locations: The library of Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences has four locations: Central library; Dieburg sub-library; Social Work sub-library; Design sub-library; Stock: The library of Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences has a hybrid library stock of 150,000 printed media, as well as a very large number of databases, e-books and e-journals.; Services: With its four locations, the library of Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences is a central place of study and work for the university. It provides university members with academic information and literature in digital and printed format. In a target-group-oriented, broad-based training programme, specially trained library staff provide content on research skills and information literacy as well as on individual topics relating to academic work.

Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. Participation in the university sports programmes of other Hessian higher education institutions is generally possible, in most of the cases only with guest status. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. Wide range of sports and exercise programmes on campus, and in municipal and club-owned sports facilities. In addition, cheap cooperation offers with clubs and sports providers. There is a calisthenics system directly on the campus for free use. Health-promoting physical activity offers for employees, sometimes also during working hours.
