Locations: The central university library provides all faculties with an extensive range of digital and printed media, specialist databases and various other forms of information.; Stock: Provision of over 250,000 books, 8,000 electronic journals and 20,000 e-books; Access to a large number of relevant specialist databases and media platforms; Services: The library is a place of learning and supports individual work on site and teamwork in learning groups; Together with the faculties, the library offers courses on information literacy, its own online tutorials and a variety of individual advisory services, to teach users how to handle media and use media systematically; A Discovery research tool not only opens up the university’s own library stock, but also several million journal articles and other types of media

Foreign language center and courses

There is no foreign language centre. Students of Potsdam University of Applied Sciences can use the language courses offered by the University of Potsdam as visiting students to improve their language skills.

Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. Opportunities to participate in the university sports programmes of many public universities in Berlin. Participation is subject to fees. At the Potsdam location, all offers of the university sports club are explicitly aimed towards the 3 universities.
